Artistic self-expression is essential to the overall health and well-being of all citizens. During the Palmer Arts Council Summer Arts Programs, young people are introduced to arts materials and projects that may not be included in the school curriculum.

Programs emphasize hands-on learning, positive adult relationships, and take full advantage of the capacity of the arts to develop social skills such as teamwork, self-respect, and self-discipline.

The overall theme of the 2010 Palmer Arts Council Summer Arts Camps is "The Art of Healthy Choices."

  The Palmer Arts Council Summer Art Programs provide area elementary, middle and high school students an opportunity for in-depth exposure to – and training in – visual arts, theater, and music. 

Instructed by professional artists and credentialed art teachers, students will experience age-appropriate instruction in a variety of art and music mediums. 

In 2010 there will be camps theater, fine arts, persucssion, and band. Forms can be downloaded on this site, and payment made through our secure PayPal system. Or checks can be made out to the Palmer Arts Council.
