Arts education is not about creating future artists. It’s about enabling decision-making and dream-making to happen in all students.
Our Values
1. Community service: We desire to serve the community in which
we live, our fellow residents and artists, and cultural arts
organizations in Palmer and throughout the region.
2. Arts and culture are integral to the quality of life: In
different ways each of us is involved in the arts. We care deeply about
nurturing and expanding arts in Palmer because we recognize that the
arts are integral to the community’s quality of life.
3. Decisions that serve the community’s interests: We value the
exploration of all ideas within an orderly, analytical process that
produces clear decisions. We want our decision-making to reflect new
ways of doing things and the needs and interests of our fellow
residents.
4. Serve with integrity and respect for each other: We value
integrity, honesty, diversity of thought and opinion, doing the right
thing and working in a respectful, friendly and collaborative manner.
Creating and sustaining such camaraderie will enable us to jointly
produce results that no one individual could achieve alone.
